Homes offered with professional real estate images typically sell more quickly and for a higher price. Yet why?

The importance of professional photography should be vital to brokers and sellers since it is crucial to buyers, as we’ll discuss in more detail below. In a NAR research of home buyers from all generations, photography came out on top as the most helpful aspect of a listing.

1.Most buyers of homes begin their search online.

In addition to starting their search for a property online 93% of the time (Statista), potential buyers are more inclined to click on properties that contain photographs. Redfin found that “listings with professional photography receive 61% more views online.” Buyers like to see things, especially when making a purchase as significant and expensive as a home. Professional images catch their attention. This is particularly true as regular purchasers start to handle their own house searches.

Buyers increasingly frequently search for properties on their own and inform their broker of their interest using websites like Redfin, broker.com, and Zillow.

2. It's important for prospective buyers to picture themselves living there.

People are motivated by images. They want to visualize moving into a new house. But in order for customers to do this most of the time, they need excellent images. They can imagine the family playing in the backyard or having dinner in the dining room thanks to the lovely images.

Unstaged residences are another matter. These might make it difficult for potential buyers to see themselves living there, so they can certainly turn them off. Staging is useful in this situation. According to NAR, 83% of buyer’s agents said that setting a home helped a buyer see it as their future home.

3. Buyers use photos to decide whether to continue the procedure.

The easiest approach to entice potential buyers from the “consideration phase” (for example, while they are sitting in front of their laptops) to a showing is to use, you guessed it, expert photography. Make sure you’re marketing your home as effectively as you can to draw in purchasers and keep their interest.

Professional equipment may not seem to make that much of a difference, but when it’s combined with skillful post-production, the results are stunning images. Excellent photographs result in qualified leads and, in the end, satisfied buyers and sellers.
